World’s Oldest Religion Says: “Humans Are Divine!”

World’s Oldest Religion Says “Humans Are God”

According to the world’s most ancient “wisdom religion” dating back to Atlantis or before, human beings are divine. You can find evidence for this in the Hermetic Corpus, the Zohar, the Chaldean Oracles, the Bible, and many other sacred texts from antiquity. More recently, the book “The Immortality Key, The Secret History Of The Religion With No Name” by Brian C. Muraresku. However, as you will find below, I have some important additions to share with you that have resulted from my extensive research and my own religious beliefs and practices as a Hermetic philosopher.

Essentially, we are ALL “god” experiencing itself through our different perspectives. This is the secret taught by Hermetic philosophy, the Kabbalah, Freemasonry, and many other esoteric traditions around the world. Inside of the Hermetic corpus, you can find sacred texts that are older than the New Testament saying exactly this. On this episode of the Beyond Homo Sapien podcast, I will dive deep into the “divine spark” theory that humans are divine. I have found this to be 100% true. As a believer and a member of the “wisdom religion”, I am here to testify to the truths that we have known since the dawn of time. Although in 2021, there is a lot of talk of a “spiritual awakening” like it is a new concept, this is not correct. As discussed on this podcast, spiritual awakening or “being woke” are just more modern ways of describing ancient esoteric truths that have been around since humans first appeared. Listen to this episode with an open mind, an open heart, and please share with anyone you feel should hear this information. Remember, in 2021, you also can join the emerging “wisdom religion” and become a member of the “un-church”. All that is required is for you to think for yourself, form your own relationship with god, and DO NO HARM to anyone. Remember that everyone else is god living from THEIR perspective. When we all do this, humanity will remember the truth and return to the source. During this difficult time, it is essential that we are Hermetic philosophers embrace this truth and continue to co-create with God so that ALL my complete the Great Work and come to full awareness of the divine spark within themselves. If you listen to this message, I would love to discuss with you. Leave a comment and let me know what is your experience with esoteric philosophy, Hermeticism, or any other form of religious belief. At the end of the day, I believe that all religions are one. Welcome all who have good intent. 777. If you are Christian, Hindu, Mormon, Muslim, Buddhist, or any other religion, know that I believe we are all one. From my perspective, we are all worshiping the same god and operating under the same collective banner. Although you might not share that perspective, that is fine. I hope that one day we can meet up and discuss in person. I would encourage you to read your Bible, Qaran, Bhagavad Gita, or text more closely and trust even more that these are the words of god speaking to you directly. However, I would ask that you open your mind to greater possibilities. In his book “The Immortality Key: The Secret History of the Religion with No Name”, Brian Muraresku argues that the world’s oldest religion deals with psychedelic rituals. He discusses the esoteric mysteries at Eleusis and the “Eleusinian Mystery Drink”. Much like Terence Mckenna, Brian Muraresku believes that a psychedelic mushroom was at the heart of this ritual and perhaps at the heart of the wisdom religion itself. Graham Hancock argues the same in podcast interviews with Joe Rogan, Aubrey Marcus, and many more. You can watch Brian Muraresku discuss this topic on the Joe Rogan Experience here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XS5qj… On this video, I propose an alternative hypothesis… Perhaps an extension on what has been offered by Graham Hancock and Brian Muraresku: Although the world’s oldest religion CERTAINLY included the use of psychedelic substances such as ayahuasca, peyote, mushrooms, and more, the heart and soul of this religion was something else. The oldest religion in the world preached and taught that humans beings are divine. At the heart and soul of Hermetic philosophy, the Kabbalah, Freemasonry, shamanic tribes, Native American legends, and many more, we find THIS truth. This is something we have explored already in our discussions on Hermetic philosophy. On this episode, we dive DEEP into arguing HOW and WHY human beings are god in flesh. This is something I believe religiously and you can too. Here is more information I have shared recently about Hermetic Philosophy and the oldest religion in the world: Want to learn more about Hermetic philosophy and the Hermetic tradition? The Master Plan To Save The World – Part Two

How Do We Save The World And Live Together In Peace?

2021 has been a tumultuous year for many people around the world. In this time, I have decided to release my new book via this blog. You can read the first part here and this is part two.  Part three will be released soon.

Please share with whoever you think will benefit from this information.

The Master Plan To Save The World – Part Two:

Since we lived in caves during the Stone Age, humans have been asking each other this question: “How do we best survive?” Back in the day, we spent our mornings and afternoons hunting animals, avoiding Saber Tooth Tigers, and guarding tribal lands. Over the years, this evolved into agricultural and later industrial revolutions that greatly increased humanities ability to produce and utilize resources. Thanks to these revolutions in human engineering, it is easier than ever before to have enough resources. Nevertheless, there are still many who are left unfulfilled in the “game of life”. Abraham Maslow outlined a hierarchy of needs for all humans that can be seen throughout history, at all levels of society. He described that humans require the following in this order:

  1. Physiological needs – Air, water, shelter, reproduction, food, taking a shit, etc.
  2. Safety needs – Resources, security, employment, health, property.
  3. Love and Belonging – Relationships, family, intimacy, empathy, tribe.
  4. Esteem – Respect, freedom, self-esteem, recognition, strength.
  5. Self-Actualization – Desire to become the most that one can be.

From dusk until dawn, humans work to climb up this ladder. Once at the top, an individual usually has enough money and food to survive, a great place to live, family and friends, wonderful career, and a sense of spiritual or personal purpose. Unfortunately, most individuals never make it close to the top and struggle somewhere in the middle. Most Americans are typically struggling somewhere in between 2-4. Inside of this 2021 COVID-19 pandemic, we tend to gravitate closer to 2 than 4. Nevertheless, there are those among us who have reached the peaks of self-actualization and even gone beyond into still higher planes. They are the older brothers and sisters of seekers such as ourselves who strive to make our greatest contributions.

If we are thinking about how to create an ideal, just, and fair society for all humanity, then we should think in terms of this hierarchy of needs. It is a model that outlines truths genetically hard-wired into our collective DNA. In the face of a global pandemic, our bodies feel fear because we know that our foundational values are threatened. If we lose our employment, we are faced with confronting a loss of esteem. Although there are plenty of reasons a person might be upset about losing a job, these are deep emotions that are felt at the genetic level which can result in dire consequences if left unchecked.

What we must remember is that the collective health of our civilization impacts all individuals, rich or poor. Inside of our current system of capitalism, this truth goes unacknowledged. However, in the face of a global pandemic or mass unemployment, it is suddenly obvious what was known all along: it is the masses of low-income workers which keep our civilization running. How foolish to think that anything else could be the case? Even in the situation of a massive corporation like Verizon or Facebook, the day-to-day operations are manned by humans no different than myself. Whether we are discussing fast food, grocery stores, hospitals, auto repair, construction, or any number of important jobs, the work is done by regular people. In the face of a global pandemic, “Average Joe/Jane” is pushed to the wayside, despite being the key to the problem. Ironically, it requires only one individual to infect a larger collective. Viruses do not discriminate based on color, income, or creed and neither should we. At the end of the day, we are all humans engaged in climbing up the hierarchy of needs. When this truth is understood, the world is not such a scary or confusing place. We are all engaged in the same pursuit. The rising tide can raise all ships but we have to be the ones to open the floodgates.

Understanding that humans have always been united in a common quest is crucial to implementing the suggestions in this document. A hypothesis based on empathy allows us to think collaboratively, instead of competitively.

When it comes to discussing ideal systems by which humans live together, this fact oftentimes go unacknowledged. Communism and socialist forms of living make claim to prioritize the common person but often fall short on promises because they rest power with the government, instead of the people. Although the motivations behind implanting a communist state might be pure, history has shown they the system is unsustainable because it takes away incentives from the common person.

Of course, it is important to mention that communism has never really existed on its own without the threat of capitalism. Throughout the Cold War, the USA did everything in their power to ensure the Soviet’s did not succeed economically. Through trade agreements, under-the-table deals, and proxy wars, the USA helped make their prophecies about the downfall of communism self-fulfilling. In the game of competition, capitalism is naturally suited to win because it eats, breathes, and sleeps a winning nature.

Despite its victory economically over socialism and communism, capitalism is also proving to be unsustainable. In 2021, amidst the coronavirus pandemic and other crisis at a global scale, we are finding that capitalism does not stand up to pressure. There is no Plan B for when jobs close down, bills continue, and health care is practically inaccessible.

However, we need to maintain certain core tenants of capitalism in order to allow for individual opportunity. If we raise taxes too high, impose more laws, or take away freedoms, we imprison ourselves inside a collective web from which we might not emerge. Instead, our ideal society should pull from the best of all systems of government while also aspiring to discover or invent new solutions with new tools available today in 2021.

Here’s an example of the sorts of tools I’m discussing:

Blockchain technology is the platform behind Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. It allows for high security, anonymous transactions, and individual banking. In a sense, a person could act as their own ministries bank using blockchain. However, the most compelling uses for blockchain technology extend far beyond currency and economics.

Blockchain could allow us to send votes securely through the internet in the same way we might send Bitcoin or Ethereum. While the technology is still underway, tech startups all over the world  are innovating ways to use Blockchain as a voting platform. While it might take time before we have a completely secure voting system, the invention will come soon. When it does, this system can allow us to cast votes securely, anonymously, and easily from the comfort of our homes. Imagine the increase in voter turnout when this platform is released!

Of course, the “powers that be” might do everything in their power to prevent such a platform from existing. From my foxhole, this is why our system for an ideal society based off individual empowerment must exist. Countries like the USA or UK have grown so entrenched in old ways and it is near impossible to implement an innovative or creative solution. When such an invention gives more power to the people, it is even less likely to be applied or considered.

In an ideal society, it would be easy for anyone to vote. Blockchain technology is just one example of the ways in which we might bring more equality opportunity to our communities Worldwide. In 2021, we have tools our ancestors could not imagine. It is time we use these tools properly. When creating the constitution for the USA, our founding fathers lived in a different era. They could not fathom the creations we have manifested today. It is time we change our systems accordingly, using the new technologies and understandings we have pioneered collectively.

Alongside technological innovations have co-evolved ethical and spiritual understandings. For instance: the Civil Rights era changed how our world considers race, gender, sexuality, and creed. Especially in matters of employment and legal rights, this movement did plenty to pioneer human rights inside of the USA and other developed countries. Unfortunately, their movement is still fighting today to bring full equality of opportunity to the world. In many ways, the endeavor of this document is to continue their fight. However, I believe that a new strategy is necessary given the failure of the Civil Rights movement to achieve total success in their mission to-date.

It is time for a new collective story. We must strive to see the world in new eyes and imagine freely a more beautiful reality. Instead of giving into old belief systems and political approaches, let us invent and discover new ways to engineer true realization of these common goals. All of humanity can unite into a collective ambition, if only we have a shared strategy. Let us leave these political parties and outdated systems behind in the dirt with the bones of our less-evolved ancestors.
Creating such a strategy requires empowerment of the individual. At every level of society, we must give opportunity for all peoples to succeed in achieving their goals. Although we should not strive to bring about equality of outcome among all citizens, we can certainly achieve a certain level of equality of opportunity. By achieving such a goal, we could create a society that works more equally for everyone while still reserving the rights of the individual.

How To Achieve World Peace

Put simply, here is what I am suggesting:

If we give average people more tools, education, and community support to achieve their personal goals, we can go a long way towards achieving equality of opportunity across our borders. This outcome will generate a wavelength of creativity, entrepreneurship, and innovation the likes of which our world has never before seen.

By doing so, we create a model which could be implemented worldwide to create a network of connected communities. In today’s world, communication does not need to be done in-person. We can use video chat technology to speak easily with someone in China, the USA, Canada, Iraq, Germany, or any developed area in the world. Even if we cannot speak the same language, we can utilize tools like Google translate to share ideas. As we continue to invent new technologies like virtual and augmented reality, we decrease the boundaries of communication even more. Suddenly, a man or woman in Japan could be giving me a tour of their apartment and introducing me to their children while I sit in Missouri, USA. Through a medium like virtual reality, we could hang out inside of their living room even if I am on the other side of the world. Such technology exists today. This is not some far-fetched future that I am speculating might come into existence in the far future. Virtual reality is just one of countless new technologies, medicines, practices, and understandings which humans are developing. Symbiotically, these developments in separate disciplines are happening inside of the same decade. Suddenly, we have new abilities and tools we have never seen before.

However, our political and economic systems have failed to update themselves. It is easy for the conspiracy theorist (CIA invented term by the way) to argue for a New World Order agenda in which hidden tyrants purposefully handicap populations of citizens by failing to innovate new solutions. For instance, if we continue to conduct education like it is the Industrial Age, we further handicap our citizenry and fail to realize that reality is shifting towards a fully virtual economy. In 2021 and beyond, we must create new education systems that prioritize teaching skills for the digital age. Instead of teaching Trigonometry, advanced physics, or any number of other less applicable subject, we should teach kids how to code websites, create blogs, run social media platforms, and market products online. My contention is that we would find much more interest and participation in the school system if we allowed children to pursue their own creative or entrepreneurial ambitions, rather than teach them information that does not directly apply to their lives. People are interested in their interests. If we structured our curriculum accordingly, we could empower humans to be more innovative and creative. We could create an entrepreneurial system that teaches tools that apply from an understanding of the online economy.

Failing to update the school system’s curriculum for a modern age is one of numerous examples concerning how our governments hold society back. Whether or not this is an intentional secret plan is irrelevant. Regardless of how it was invented and implemented, it clearly fails to work and ends up leading to mass unemployment during a crisis event or something similar. If we teach an employee or factory worker mindset, people fail to learn how to make money on their own. They become so attached to a paycheck that capitalism becomes the socialist monster it so feared and criticized. When the economy goes through an inevitable collapse due to un-sustainability, the average person has no idea how to begin creating another stream of income. Instead of jumping into action, they sit on the couch watching Netflix because there is nowhere else to turn for ideas or help.

To be clear: this is not necessarily the fault of “Average Joe/Jane on the couch”. If a person does not have ideas about how to create additional streams of income for themselves during a crisis, it is a failure of the education system. Why? Because there are so many ways in 2021 to create additional streams of income utilizing any means of new technologies or tools that are available!

Failing to teach Average Joe/Jane an entrepreneurial or creative mindset is setting them up for failure. Consider this example: you and I are playing hockey against another team. Let’s call this other team “Team Rocket”. Our team (Team Potential) is made up of around 20-30 people who are all pretty naturally good at hockey. We are athletic, healthy, and competitive. If we are given the proper tools for success (decent gear, good training, and regular practices) we might win the championship and unseat Team Rocket, the current champions.

However, there is a twist: one person owns both Team Rocket and Team Potential. This person actually owns dozens of teams. They are invested in the success of certain teams. They might be more friendly with certain coaches, players, or maybe they even have some financial interest in one team being more successful than another. For whatever reason, this owner does not give the proper tools to Team Potential. For this reason, Team Potential never beats Team Rocket.

Failing to equip our citizens with the proper tools to succeed in the modern world is similar to acting like that owner. For whatever reason, this individual is failing to equally ensure all his teams are ready for an equal opportunity towards winning the championship. At the moment, I believe this is our current situation in many countries around the world, including the United States of America. For reasons unknown, our current political and economic systems fail to equip our citizens with the proper tools they need to succeed in the modern world. Our current system is setup for failure and does not withstand the pressure. It leaves people dependent on a paycheck from a job that oftentimes drains them of their energy and leaves them unfulfilled. Through this vicious cycle we call “the Rat Race”, humans wander their lives in a slumbering state: never reaching their real potential and always settling for less than they can really achieve. Instead of becoming the heroes of their own life story, they watch movies and read books about fictional characters they will never truly embody. Failing to apply the messages of these stories to our lives, our civilization moves on unchecked and un-evolved. We are eagles raised to be fowl, lions treated like house-cats, and gorillas kept in a cage so we could never be the king.

I believe that the communist model goes two steps too far in solving this problem. The socialist and communist models oftentimes wish to guarantee equality of outcome. As enacted in the USSR and many places around the world, the goal is to ensure that everyone achieves the same quality of life over the course of life through sharing resources and providing a wonderful social safety net. Although this dream of communism was never achieved by the USSR, it is oftentimes argued that communism only failed due to the hatred and threats of capitalism. Left to pursue their own interests, communism could have perhaps existed in peace alongside capitalism. However, in 2021, we inherited the timeline wherein this mutual competition did not happen. Instead, we here in the USA ensured the USSR did not survive the Cold War. In its fight for the top seat, capitalism resorted to covert operations and proxy wars to ensure no competition could survive. Rather than practicing what they preached and competing economically with communism, capitalism invaded Vietnam, Laos, and plenty of other places around the globe to ensure their total victory.

That all being said, I believe communism and socialism are not ideal systems. Equality of outcome ultimately leads to passivity and lack of ambition. If our outcomes are assured, there is no reason to get creative and innovate solutions to problems. If the government seeks to remove all our problems, why invent new solutions? If we all share income, why strive to become a millionaire and create wealth for your family? If we do not allow families to pass money and property to their descendants, what motivation does a person have for striving inside of their life? Communism and socialism seem to diagnose all humans a shared hatred for work and money. Personally, I have found a true love for work inside of my life, and money is always a wonderful motivator.

Instead, we must create a society wherein we have equal opportunity. At the moment inside of countries like the USA, we all start at unequal points. Furthermore, even in the best school districts of America with the wealthiest families, children are still not taught properly. They are groomed for lives in banks, law offices, marketing firms, public schools, or government organizations. Indeed, most college majors seem to prepare students for lives as college research professors rather than members of the marketplace or workforce. Naturally, most people do not become college professors after finishing school, despite a requirement to master proper methods of creating a footnote or bibliography. Instead of mastering the art of writing a research paper, we should teach people how to start a business. We should teach investing and financial education. Kids should know how a credit card functions.

Our bodies require movement and we must prioritize physical education. Teaching languages is becoming all the more important as our world economy evolves. Instead of teaching yet another lecture on Civil War history, why not teach kids about current trends in economics? Why are we not teaching kids how to build a website on WordPress? Although there are certainly schools and universities around the globe that are evolving and teaching some of these topics, it is not widespread. We need proper education for the digital economy in all schools across any developed nation. People should be learning how to make money selling on eBay, starting a blog, selling a product on Facebook, setting up an e-commerce store with Shopify, or any number of basic online skills. By failing to teach these basic internet skills, we fail to equip our citizens with the tools they need to succeed.

All over the world, we fail to innovate and evolve education. From the get-go, we handicap our citizens and fail to give them the keys to the kingdom of life. Whether this is by-design or not is not important. It is our collectively shared reality. It is impacting all of us more than we can possibly imagine.

Here in 2021, we have the opportunity to write a new story. We find ourselves sitting in the backseat of an airplane headed for disaster. We can choose to remain in our seats or we can take over the cockpit and learn to fly the plane on our own. By all accounts, the pilots have failed.

Let us learn to fly together.

Astral Travel Masterclass

Learn To Astral Travel

Astral travel is a life changing meditation practice that helps a person leave their body and explored altered states of consciousness. In my spiritual journey, learning techniques associated with entering my astral body and exploring different dimensions has proven extremely rewarding. After receiving many questions about astral travel since recording a podcast episode about the topic, I want to begin sharing more about this practice in the hopes it can help others in their quest. I am here to learn and hold space.

I have been practicing this style of meditation for years and I would like to begin sharing this information to help others in their own practice. When I first heard about astral travel, I was skeptical. Years ago in my journey, I was hesitant to believe anything unless I experienced it for myself. These days, I understand that I do not know everything and the secrets of the universe become more intense and powerful the more I explore.

Astral travel awakened me to the power of the internal journey and a person’s own ability to access higher states of consciousness while awake. Symbolized in stories of the Holy Grail, the Heroes Journey, and even the teachings of Jesus Christ, mankind has been obsessed with accessing the “god within”… The divine source of all knowledge that connects us with source energy.

Astral Travel Experiences

In my experiences with astral travel, I have been able to experience this state that is unknowable unless experienced. It cannot be spoken, written about, or expressed through the senses. It can only be accessed within.

Through a daily practice of astral travel, I have been able to access these different states of consciousness and I want to share what I have been practicing in the hopes it will inspire others in their own personal practice. We can share experiences and learn together as we grow.

Astral travel is an advanced form of meditation that involves leaving your body to explore altered states of consciousness. To get started with meditation, dedicate at least ten minutes of every day to basic breath work. Notice awareness of your thoughts and feelings. Begin to build consistency around this journey!

Are you a beginner to meditation?

If you want to learn about how to meditate, read this post on the blog. It will walk you through some basic exercises that will get you started creating a meditation practice inside of your own life.

How To Meditate

It is similar to lucid dreaming, except you are awake.

Manly P Hall

Manly P. Hall – Key Takeaways

Manly P. Hall

Many P. Hall is one of my favorite people in history. Want to learn about one of the greatest philosophers of the modern era? Watch or listen to this episode of Beyond Homo Sapien!

Who Is Manly P. Hall?

Manly P. Hall is one of the most prolific authors, speakers, and thinkers of the last few hundred years. He wrote over 130 books and gave thousands of lectures… First emerging onto the scene with “The Secret Teachings Of All Ages” when he was in his twenties, Manly Hall went on to become an influential teacher in the topics of metaphysics, occultism, mystery schools, esoteric philosophy, and many other topics.

The last few years, Manly Hall has been a constant mentor to me in my journey… He is someone who has influenced me enormously, even though he died before I was ever born. When I first encountered his book “The Initiates Of The Flame”, I felt as if he was writing directly to me. Over the years since I first began reading his work, Manly Hall has helped me to make sense of my life and understand myself and the universe at a deeper level. In particular, his work analyzing “the great work” throughout history has been transformative. By learning about the different organizations and people throughout history who have been involved in this collective goal, I have found deeper peace and stillness inside of my own life and spiritual journey.

In this video, I share some of the key takeaways from Manly Hall’s work. In many of his works, Manly wrote about the possibility for a human to experience a transformation here on Earth to better embody their spiritual selves in their Earthly journey. Manly Hall teaches that humans are the microcosm of the universe. The human body is a reflection of the universe at an internal level. As said in Hermetic philosophy: “as above, so below. As within, so without”.

Manly writes about various people throughout history like the Count of Saint Germaine, Cagliastro, HP Blavatsky, Jesus, and many more who walked the path of the “adept”. In his books, Manly shares that these individuals we might consider “ascended masters” are really just normal humans who have understood and grasped life’s greater mysteries. By putting aside ourselves and stepping onto the path of self-discipline, mastery, and empathy, a person can make a vow before the highest part of themselves and achieve such a level of internal spiritual mastery. By walking in the steps of the ancient masters throughout time, a human is able to accelerate their own journey beyond what they might have first thought possible.

Best Manly P. Hall Books

In no particular order, here are books by Manly P. Hall that I recommend your pursue:

1. The Secret Teachings Of All Ages.

This book is the most famous by Manly Hall. In this incredible anthology, Manly has crafted an essential source for all students of occultism and the greater mysteries of life. Inside this text is an encyclopedia of different secret teachings and symbols from around the world. Manly discusses Hinduism, Christianity, Buddhism, Islam, and numerous other religions and compares their symbols with one another. By cross-referencing this with teachings from Hermetic philosophy, Freemasonry, Kaballah, and much more, Manly Hall created an essential text for the student of spirituality.

2. Initiates Of The Flame.

This short book changed my life. Inside this first book by Manly P. Hall is described the path that a human being can choose to work on behalf of the collective consciousness, as opposed to their own selfishness. By making a vow before the highest parts of themselves, the “initiate” is able to progress through different levels of consciousness until they reach the highest parts of themselves. Once there, the individual has the ability to walk in the steps of the great “adepts” throughout history. However, such a path will only lead to fruition if taken with the right intent and motivation. If done to serve the self, then it is a path clouded in shadow. If the student is able to truly grasp the greater truths of life and work on behalf of mankind, then the journey can become purely magical and divinely guided. Overall, it is all about stepping up to the plate and serving humanity from wherever you are at in life.

3. The Secret Destiny Of America.

One of Manly Hall’s most famous work, the Secret Destiny of America was quoted by Ronald Reagan in speeches. This text is a sort of secret history of the societies and mystery schools that worked to bring America into fruition. As a high level Mason, Manly Hall was privileged to information about the secret purpose of the United States. In this read, he provides context for that greater work and explains the goal of creating a university of “the seven day’s work” wherein mankind will finally be able to achieve spiritual fulfillment and individual freedom here on the Earth. Whether or not you believe the information in this book to be true, Manly Hall crafts a compelling argument for why individual responsibility and personal freedoms are the highest values and greatest tools in making way for a better world.

4. The Phoenix.

A compelling read that called to me deeply, The Phoenix is a book about ascended masters. Inside of this text, Manly Hall makes the argument that different “ascended masters” throughout history were regular human beings who understood deeply the sciences of life and the secrets of the universe. Although these individuals stand as outliers inside of the history books, they were humans like any other. Whether we are talking about the immortal Count of Saint Germaine, the powerful Theosophist HP Blavatsky, or Gandhi, we are merely recognizing humans who successfully understood the greater secrets of life and then embodied those principles in their day to day lives. A powerful work, The Phoenix helps us to see the potential for a human being and how that might be enacted in our daily lives.

5. Orders Of The Quest.

This book introduces different mystery schools or secret orders that served to protect esoteric secrets throughout history. If you are a student of occultism or spirituality, you will be impressed and blown away by the amount of work that has been undertaken to ensure the survival of these mysteries. The Orders of the Quest helped me to context my greater life’s mission and find great appreciation for all those throughout history who ensured that this information survive the fires of the Inquisition or the ignorance of religious dogma. Furthermore, this book suggests that the “Great Work” is still underway and manifests inside of our daily work. By reading this short book by Manly Hall, the student is able to place their life into the greater context or our esoteric world.

6. Magic.

One of the shortest books by Manly Hall that I have read, Magic is a short guide for understanding how magic works inside of our universe. By understanding the difference between “left-hand” or “right-hand” magic, a student is able to discern when they are acting in accordance with universal will or when they are acting purely from selfish ambition. Filled with warnings of following the left-hand path, this book makes clear the position of Manly P. Hall on esoteric secrets: the possession of “secret” knowledge does not give the individual a right to do anything they want in life. Secret information or greater spiritual understanding does not make a person better than another. By understanding this principle, the magician is able to act in accordance with divine harmony and become a servant of the light rather than a misaligned practitioner.

7. The Most Holy Trinosphia Of The Count Of Saint Germaine

One of the most interesting works produced by Manly P. Hall, The Trinosphia is attributed to the immortal Count of Saint Germaine. However, the work includes a detailed introduction and commentary by Manly Hall and could be possibly been created by him altogether asa means for sharing deeper esoteric truths. Regardless of the author of the document, the Trinosphia is an allegorical story of a person who escapes prison inside of an Inquisition dungeon, only to emerge into a spiritual initiation into higher consciousness. This book is a collection of symbols that represent the journey of initiation and the path of becoming an initiate to an adept in the ancient mysteries. It is a fascinating read that can be interpreted a number of different ways.

Manly Hall’s Legacy

Manly P. Hall is one of the greatest esoteric philosophers in history. By studying his work, I have grown into a deeper understanding of myself and my life’s purpose. Furthermore, Manly helps me to feel not-so-alone. In fact, if his work is to be believed, then the path that you and I walk is one of the oldest in history. The path of initiation and “spiritual awakening” is thousands of years old and has been walked by all who pursue “the great work” of bringing humanity to closer spiritual awareness.

If you feel led to study the works of Manly P. Hall, I recommend starting with whatever book calls to you the most. He wrote over a 130 books and they are often on vastly different topics. Wherever you dive into the Manly Hall rabbit hole, I contend it will be one of the most rewarding and eye-opening explorations of your life. Keep an open mind and test all that you learn. Do not believe something just because you read it inside of a book but rather apply the concepts to your life and see for yourself where they lead.
